As a professional management institute, the Institute of Administration and commerce maintains a register of members and applies and upholds its code of ethics and professional conduct.

To promote formal learning in the arena in which it seeks to ,maintain standards of professional excellence the IAC also operates as an independent examining Board

The IAC is governed by a Board of its Members

Specializing in a broad range of management related certificate, Diploma, and Higher Diploma courses, IAC designs and develops curricula and syllabi.

Examinations are written in May and October each year at various centers as determined by the IAC.

The IAC has membership centers in the Western Cape KwaZulu Natal,Gauteng and in Bulawayo Harare and Masvingo in Zimbabwe. Members’ centers arrange seminars, conferences, meetings and social events for the benefit of members and students.
